Task_3-2 Reflection

Task_3-2 Reflection

1.    What roles did the members of your team have this week?

Melanie: Editor-in-Chief (Proofreader): Created SLO #4, helped select final group SLO
Nathan: ?????  did not responded to Email, has not contributed to PBL project and  has not contributed to this week's forum. =(
Michelle: ????? Missing in Action, did not responded to Email,  has not contributed to PBL project and has not contributed to this week's forum. =(

2.    Given your role in the group this week, how did you contribute to group?

As the Project Manager for the group, I tried my best to set up the Google Docs with templates and instructional resources to help my group. In addition, I put up some motivational images and quotes to try to create an environment and mentality that we can do it and succeed!

3.    What worked well this week?

Our group brainstormed and contributed some great SLO to use for our PBL Scenario. Many of our members have busy lives with work and more then a full time student course load. Even so three members were consistently able to overcome obstacles and be depended on. As a result, this helps to develop trust and commitment and increase moral that together we can make it!

Johanna was instrumental in keeping the group together with her enthusiasm and proactive approach to helping other struggling group members by taking over their forum facilitator duties. As a result it helped spark some life into the group's morale. If she wasn't in the group I would have withdrew from this class on March 21, but knowing her from last semester that she has great work ethics and intellect, I knew she would be a great asset to the group and can be trusted to come through.

4.    What will you do differently next time?

I think we are now down to a total of  four active members that have proven their dedication and commitment to the group. I will continue to keep all our group members updated and try to accommodate their needs, but it is hard to trust and assign specific tasks knowing there is a good chance someone may not come through.
